Failover Test Log 15 June 2019

Oslo Børs facilitates a failover test with optional customer participation in the Millennium production environment on Saturday 15 June 2019. The test will focus on failover from primary- to secondary site, with functional test availability before and after the cutover.

This website will be continually updated with detailed plans/amendments and announcements during Saturday 15 June. Please study the document "OSLMIT Guide to Failover Test" in order to prepare for the weekend activities.

Failover Test 15 June 2019 – Oslo Børs’ Equity markets will open with a Re-Opening Auction Call at 14:25 CET followed by an Uncross at 14:30 CET.

ETNs/ETFs and Warrants will open with a Re-Opening Auction Call at 14:25 CEST followed by an Uncross at 14:30:30

Fixed Income market will open at 14:25 CEST followed by an Auction/Uncross at 14:30 CEST for the following Segments:                    

  • Automatch (OBAU)
  • Call (OBOC)

The other segments will open accordingly.

13:55 CET 15 June

Failover Test 15 June 2019 – The Oslo Børs trading system is now available on the Secondary Data Centre and customers should start to connect. Further information on when the markets will open will follow as soon as possible.

The Oslo Børs' Equity and Fixed Income markets are temporarily Halted.

12:58 CEST 15 June

Estimated times below in section "Functional testing by Oslo Børs" has been updated.

12:28 CEST 15 June

Customers are now expected to be able to connect to the secondary data center at 14:00 CET. For this reason uncross is expected at 14:30 CET and post close at 15:30 CET. We apologize for the delays.

Estimated time for uncross is 13:45 CET. For this reason, post close is expected to be 15:00 CET. As these are estimates, exact times will be confirmed later.

The schedule for todays test has been amended unintentionally with the result being that the markets are in regular trading. This will not impact the expected time of failover. Updated schedule for corporate actions will follow. The Reference data files is expected to be available at 8:30 as planned.
