Changes to the issuer rules and new membership and trading rules

The new issuer rules and member and trading rules are now resolved by Oslo Børs and will enter into force on 30 November.

Change of tickers

Reference is made to the stock exchange notice on 28 October 2020, where it was announced that a number of equity instruments, ETFs and indices on the Oslo Børs’ marketplaces will have a change in their current Oslo ticker to a new trading symbol or index mnemonic. Please find attached the final list of ticker codes / mnemonics that has been changed as a part of the migration of the Oslo Børs Cash Equities products to the Euronext infrastructure 30th November 2020.

This is Euronext Connect

Euronext Connect ("Connect") is the Euronext customer portal, where companies will find information about their listing. It contains exclusive real-time monitoring of your company’s shares, historical trading data and will allow you to manage subscriptions to news alerts and a daily summary of the trading in your stock. In addition, you will access NewsPoint from Connect.

Oslo Børs NewsPoint - New login process

From Monday 23 November 2020, Oslo Børs NewsPoint will move to the Euronext Connect Customer Portal. As of the evening of 23 November 2020, NewsPoint users will be required to log into NewsPoint through the new customer portal.

Oslo Børs’ Green Bonds list will be merged with Euronext ESG Bonds from 7 December 2020

Following the acquisition of Oslo Børs by Euronext in June 2019, trading on Oslo Børs/Nordic ABM will migrate onto the Euronext’s trading systems on 7 December 2020. From the same date, Oslo Børs’ Green Bonds list will be merged with Euronext ESG Bonds, which is a consolidated highly visible area for all marketplaces in Euronext.

Change of tickers

The previously announced change of tickers will take effect from 30 November 2020.

Migration to new trading system rescheduled

The migration to the Optiq trading system will be 30 November and 7 December.

Webinar - Oslo Børs becomes part of Euronext

As of 09 November, Oslo Børs will start using the Euronext systems following its integration with Euronext. This migration will entail some changes for issuers with equities, equity certificates and bonds listed on Oslo Børs.

Consultation regarding the ABM rules for issuers

Following the acquisition of Oslo Børs by Euronext in June 2019, reporting of trades in bonds registered on Nordic ABM will migrate onto the Euronext trade reporting platform Saturn on 30 November 2020.

Consultation regarding Trading Rules on Merkur Market

Following the acquisition of Oslo Børs by Euronext in June 2019, and as previously communicated, trading on Merkur Market will migrate onto the Euronext trading platform Optiq on 9 November 2020, simultaneously as the migration of trading with equity securities on Oslo Børs and Oslo Axess.

The purpose of this consultation is to present the new regulation that will govern the Trading Rules on Merkur Market after the migration to Optiq, and to offer our members an opportunity to provide feedback on the changes.

Høring vedrørende Utstederreglene

Etter Euronexts oppkjøp av Oslo Børs i juni 2019, og som tidligere kommunisert, vil handel på Oslo Børs og Oslo Axess migrere over til Euronexts handelssystem Optiq den 9. november 2020 for egenkapitalinstrumenter og 30. november 2020 for derivater og renteinstrumenter.

Endringer knyttet til overgang til Euronext-systemer

I løpet av høsten tar Oslo Børs i bruk samme systemer som de andre Euronext-børsene. Dette medfører enkelte forandringer for aksje-, egenkapitalbevis- og obligasjonsutstederne på Oslo Børs. Blant annet vil to av våre markedsplasser bytte navn, og vi vil få noen regelverksendringer.
