OSLO BØRS OPTIQ® MIGRATION – CONFORMANCE AND DRESS REHEARSAL REMINDERS 10 & 31 OCT

Euronext reminds customers to book and perform their Functional Conformance tests and submit the validation tests web forms. These tests are mandatory prior to the Oslo Optiq production migration dates.

Euronext reminds customers of the Dress Rehearsals organised ahead of the Oslo Børs Markets’ migration to Optiq. Customers are required to have ordered their Logical Accesses for Production, passed their Functional Conformance test and conducted connectivity tests to be authorised to take part in the Dress Rehearsals. 

Euronext reminds customers that Functional Conformance, High Availability, and other validation tests for Oslo Cash, Oslo Derivatives, and Oslo Fixed Income are available in the Next EUA (p-EUA) environment, and that these tests are mandatory prior to the Oslo Optiq Production migration dates. Customers should book their Functional Conformance testing slots as soon as possible and submit the validation tests web forms.

DRESS REHEARSALS AND PRE-REQUISITIES

Euronext reminds customers of the Dress Rehearsals organised ahead of the Oslo Børs Markets’ migration to Optiq. Customer participation is mandatory in at least one Dress Rehearsal for each of the two migrations:

 

■     Cash Equities, Structured Products and ETFs Dress Rehearsals on 10 & 31 October 2020.

■     Derivatives and Fixed Income Dress Rehearsals on 14 & 21 November 2020.

 

Customers will be authorised to take part in a Dress Rehearsal as long as they have met the following three requirements:

1.       Order Production Logical Accesses

Forms for ordering Logical Accesses can be found on Connect at the following locations:

As a reminder, forms can only be submitted by a nominated Member Connectivity Administrator (MCA). Software providers are not authorised to order Production Logical Accesses.

The deadlines for ordering Logical Accesses are:

Cash migration:

■     Friday 2 October for the Dress Rehearsal of 10 October.

■     Friday 23 October for the Dress Rehearsal of 31 October.

 

Derivatives/Fixed Income migration:

■     Friday 6 November for the Dress Rehearsal of 14 November.

■     Friday 13 November for the Dress Rehearsal of 21 November.

 

Login credentials will be communicated to customers during the week prior to each Dress Rehearsal.

2.       Pass Functional Conformance test

Trading members, member developers, and software providers are required to pass a mandatory conformance test in the Next External User Acceptance (p-EUA) environment for each of their solutions, member code, and protocols (SBE or FIX). The Conformance test takes approximately 30 to 90 minutes to complete and must be booked with a Client Services Officer:

■     Cash and Fixed Income Functional Conformance booking form & Functional Conformance script.

■     Derivatives Functional Conformance booking form & Functional Conformance script.

 

The deadlines for passing the Functional Conformance test are:

Cash migration:

■     Thursday 8 October for the Dress Rehearsal of 10 October

■     Thursday 29 October for the Dress Rehearsal of 31 October.

 

Derivatives/Fixed Income migration:

■     Thursday 12 November for the Dress Rehearsal of 14 November

■     Thursday 19 November for the Dress Rehearsal of 21 November.

 

3.       Conduct connectivity tests in Production

Customers are required to conduct connectivity tests in Production prior to Dress Rehearsals as described in the Connectivity Telnet test document available on the Optiq IT Documentation webpage: Euronext markets – OEG Connectivity Telnet Tests.

CONNECTIVITY TO OPTIQ® ORDER ENTRY GATEWAY OR Market Data Gateway CHANNELS FOR PRODUCTION

In preparation of the Dress Rehearsals in Production environment, Oslo clients are strongly reminded that:

■     For clients hosted by an ISV/ASP, to liaise with their ISV or ASP to ensure their access to the Optiq® Order Entry Gateway and MDG channels are set-up;

■     For clients connecting directly, to contact their sales representative at ICE Data Services or send an e-mail to iceglobalnetwork-info@theice.com to request access to the Oslo channels; and

■     To have signed the Euronext Market Data Agreement (EMDA). Contact the Market Data Licensing team at databyeuronext@euronext.com for more information.

 

Scope and timing of dress rehearsals

Dress Rehearsal guidelines listing the timing and scope of tests will be issued on the Tuesday prior to each Dress Rehearsal.
