Subscription rights are traded on Oslo Børs or Oslo Axess and give existing shareholders in a company a priority right to buy new shares issued by the company at a pre-agreed price (normally lower than the market price). The number of shares that can be purchased is proportionate to the number of shares the shareholder already holds.

Subscription rights can only be issued and offered for a short period before the new shares are the subject of a public offer at market price.
