How to become a member on Oslo Børs

  2. Choose your clearing and settlement arrangements. Oslo Børs currently offers Oslo Clearing as the central counterparty (CCP) for all equities traded with Oslo Bors and Oslo Axess. Clients can either become a direct clearing member (DCM) of Oslo Clearing, or become a non-clearing member through a general clearing member (GCM). For settlement, clients can either enter an agreement with a custody agent or become an account operator with Verdipapirsentralen (VPS), the Norwegian CSD. Fill out the application form and send it by e-mail to the attention of either of the member contacts – see contact information

  4. Oslo Børs will review the application and grant formal approval when all the formal requirements are met
  5. If necessary, a connection to Oslo Børs will have to be set up. Time must be allowed for testing and other practical issues

Investment firms who are member for stock trading on Oslo Børs:

  • Sign the membership agreement and return it to Annar Schiander

New members:

  • Choose your clearing and settlement arrangements
