How to become a member

Procedure for the membership application process:

  1. Contact Oslo Børs - see contact information.
  2. Decide on clearing and settlement arrangements. This may currently be done either by entering into an agreement with a custody agent or by becoming an account operator with Verdipapirsentralen (VPS), the Norwegian CSD. Oslo Børs has announced that it will implement a CCP for trading in all cash equities listed on both the Oslo Børs and the Oslo Axess markets by 1Q 2010.
  3. Fill out the application form and send it by e-mail to the attention of either of the member contacts – see contact information
  4. Oslo Børs will review the application and grant formal approval when all the formal requirements are met
  5. If necessary, a connection to Oslo Børs will have to be set up. Time must be allowed for testing and other practical issues
