Oslo Børs and the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) collaborate on market and product development across the equities, fixed income and derivatives markets. Oslo Axess is included in this work.
Broad international network
Oslo Børs has built a broad network for the distribution of Norwegian securities over recent years, both locally and internationally. The agreement with LSEG gives us the opportunity to further expand our international network of member firms.
The trading systems TradElect and SOLA
Oslo Børs uses the TradElect trading system, developed and owned by LSEG, for all trading in equities and fixed income securities. For trading in derivatives, we use the SOLA, which is also used by the LSEG subsidiary Turquoise.
Proven systems
TradElect currently powers trading on Borsa Italiana, as well as on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. The SOLA system, developed by the Canadian TMX Group, currently operates derivatives trading on the Montreal Exchange and on the Boston Options Exchange.
