Trading in interest-bearing instruments
Bond loans or certificate loans can be traded on Oslo Børs or the unregulated market place Oslo ABM. Both market places are regulated and supervised to provide good security for all participants.
Efficient trading platform
Both Oslo Børs and Oslo ABM uses the TradElect trading system, a stable and efficient platform.
Less risky than shares
Investing in bonds is less risky than investing in the stock market. This is because the return earned on an investment in bonds is to a large extent determined in advance through the interest rate on the bond, and bondholders have priority over shareholders if the company goes into liquidation.
Trading via brokers
Trading is done by brokers who submit orders in the trading system on behalf of their clients. The brokers must have membership on Oslo Børs, Oslo Axess or Oslo ABM.
