Oslo Børs VPS – new profile and new names for companies in the group

Oslo Børs and VPS have merged to ensure that the Norwegian securities market can be even more efficient and deliver a high quality range of products and services for Norwegian and international customers.

The merger was essential to maintain the competitiveness of the Norwegian securities market against the challenge of competition from larger international marketplaces.

Oslo Børs VPS will contribute to value creation in Norway by simplifying and developing the country’s infrastructure. Oslo Børs VPS is committed to offering attractive marketplaces, clearing, settlement, securities registry and information services for financial instruments in order to ensure that our customers have access to an efficient capital market.

Oslo Børs VPS offers services and products that cover the entire securities value chain, covering the range from listed companies raising capital through to efficient trading and settlement for various types of financial instruments. Providing Internet-based information solutions to the market also represents an important part of the group's range of services.

Oslo Børs VPS is made up of Oslo Børs VPS Holding ASA, with the subsidiaries:

With effect from 23 June, all units within the Oslo Børs VPS group will adopt a comprehensive new corporate logo and profile. The new visual identity will express the group's position in the securities market, both in Norway and internationally. Our objective is to ensure that customers, business partners and employees recognize Oslo Børs VPS as a modern, forward-looking organisation, which at the same time has long traditions for delivering products and services that are fully competitive by international comparison.

Oslo Børs VPS will use ”OSLO” as the unifying element of its corporate logo across the entire range of its activities. This means that all business areas, companies and marketplaces will adopt the ”OSLO” emblem.
